Happy New Year And A New Beginning

Well, I have moved end of September 2017 almost to the day 5 years after I moved to Pinged.

The goats seem to like the new place, they go out on the grass in sunshine, downpours, fog or even snow. No sign of “goats don’t like rain”.

That makes me happy, my Boers have kept me going when the going was tough, and we didn’t always had it easy in the last 10 years.

Leaving one place and hardly arriving the next I was faced with bullying, slander and the lot, which made the whole procedure very unpleasant. At the end of the day the folks suffering are the animals as my focus was on salvage what is mine and and security of the whole new and not on my beasts.

But hey-ho, I found what I was looking for, better ground for the goats and land South-facing for the long standing plans of diversifying or rather combining a few elements to a whole.

Observation is on the program at the moment, a seemingly passive but very important part of planning. Luckily it is winter when there are very few pressing things to do on the land.

This is a beautiful place, very calming in the vibes and usually quiet. Well, apart from the brook, the wind in the trees and plenty of Tawny owls. Every time I return to this place I have to smile 🙂 Must be a good sign…

I will leave it here, with the aim to keep you updated on developments (providing I get a internet connection sorted somehow), wishing all my readers a very happy new year and that we all can fulfil our wishes…

For me there is only one direction, as friends put it: Onwards and Upwards.

Hello. Have you moved far from Pinged? Are you still in the area. Would like to purchase some goat meat please.
Grateful if you could let me know.
